Qualifying is officially live for the second major event of the 2026-27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series powered by PlayVS. Starting November 3 through Sunday, November 8, eligible college and university students across the United States and Canada can jump into the Great Lakes Gauntlet Time Attack at Michigan International Speedway.
With $60,000 USD in scholarship prizes awarded across the 2026-27 collegiate season, the high-banked two-mile Michigan D-oval shifts the focus from last month's street course survival at the Big Apple Battle to wide-open momentum and smooth steering discipline in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
How to Qualify for the Great Lakes Gauntlet
To lock in a spot for the November 19 tournament heats and November 24 championship broadcast, student drivers must register their school eligibility on PlayVS College League and post a clean single-lap Time Attack time inside the iRacing UI before Sunday, November 8 at 11:59 PM ET. In a single-car Time Attack at Michigan with no draft partner ahead, keeping the truck pinned right against the bottom white line without scrubbing speed on exit off Turn 2 and Turn 4 is everything.
