Britcar 24 Broadcast Unravels

SRN Esports entered into a surprise when they realized they just slid their BMW GT4 into the top split broadcast through iRacing. After an impeccable qualifying by Matthew Meilleur putting them P3 on the GT4 grid, Preston Le, Jon Lauzon and Raymond Tieu worked hard to keep the car afloat.
Recovering from minor contact in the opening laps to fight back into a steady P4, an over-steer snap as the 12th hour was closing sent the car into the wall. Despite the damage ending their night early, ending up P8 overall in top split proved outright front-running pace. Next stops: Petit Le Mans and Bathurst with the Supercars!
SRN Esports battled into the final hours of the official iRacing Nürburgring 24H, campaigning our custom TCR entry through dense traffic, unpredictable kerbs, and treacherous darkness on the legendary Nordschleife.
Hunting for a featured spot in the official top-split broadcast, our drivers narrowly missed out by a razor-thin average margin of just 18 iRating after last-minute surprise teams joined solely to exploit iRating thresholds without having seat time in the car. Undaunted, the team demonstrated outright top-5 pace over the grueling 24-hour distance. Next year, we will be pushing with full momentum to lock down that broadcast split and fight for a top-5 finish on the world stage.
