It Started With A Track Day
Taking sim racers onto the track in Calgary with Rookie Racing.
A community first platform connecting sim racers to real track time, community leagues, charity races, and endurance events.
Real racing is expensive. Tires, track time, and repairs cost thousands of dollars, keeping a lot of fast drivers from ever getting their shot.
Sim racing changed all of that. Good force feedback wheels and solid pedals let you practice for hours without spending a fortune, and the skills you learn in the sim carry right over to real cars on real tracks.
We started Sim Racing Nation to bring both worlds together. We are a community of sim drivers, track-day regulars, and racers who help each other get faster. Whether you are chasing a win in iRacing or stepping onto a real podium, we are here backing you up.
From track days and leagues to endurance special events, charity drives, broadcasts, and member spotlights.
We organize casual and competitive leagues for our members. Past series include the Sports Car Endurance League (SCEL) for multi-class sports cars and the Sunday Oval League (SOL) for close, door-to-door pack racing.
We enter official iRacing 24-hour and endurance events as a united community team. Drivers of all experience levels team up for pit strategy, setup sharing, and around-the-clock stints.
We believe in using sim racing to help others. We ran the Sim Racing for the Kids (SRFTK) charity event two years in a row, and hosted an emergency benefit race to help raise funds for a child's medical procedure.
We get members behind the wheel of real race cars. Our track days with Rookie Racing give sim drivers hands-on seat time, telemetry coaching, and real track experience.
The Super Formula 23 initiative has allowed us to organize top-split broadcasts for the Super Formula Community with other members of the Super Formula Community pitching in.
Tell us your story and how sim racing or motorsport has become part of your life and how you've put yourself out there to work towards achieving your own dreams.
Field reports, stories, and race recaps from across our sim racing community.
Our ambassadors prove that what you learn in the sim works in real cars, winning races from local kart tracks to national formula championships.

From catching a cheap flight with nothing but my necessities crammed into my backpack and one pair of jeans, somehow everything came together. SRN hosted its first official track day meetup where most of our members hopped into a race car for the very first time.
That night was rough. Nothing was turning out the way Rui over at RookieRacing.ca expected. His tow vehicle broke down days earlier. U-Haul stopped renting trucks with tow hitches, leaving Enterprise as our only option. We made it work, but only learned this after regaining cell service when the plane landed.
Things went sideways, and that is just part of motorsport. You cannot always have things go perfectly. We passed out after 2:00 AM with under four hours of sleep. Up and at it at 7:00 AM. We arrived at the track, prepped the cars, discussed the game plan, and hit the circuit. Other than minor onboard camera and telemetry data glitches, it was a triumph.
Members drove Nissan Micra Cup track cars, traded apex tips, and logged track sessions together.
