German hardware maker Ascher Racing just unveiled a brand-new lineup of GT hardware at the 2026 SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt: the Ascher Racing AURA range.
Built around the new AURA GT button plate, the system pairs with a fresh collection of wheel rims to create four complete steering wheel setups for GT3, prototype, and road car racers.
How does the modular AURA GT hub work?
Instead of buying a whole new button box every time you want a different wheel shape, the AURA GT hub bolts onto four different rim styles—from open-top GT grips to full round rims—while keeping all your thumb encoders, joysticks, and magnetic shifters right where your fingers expect them.
What stands out about Ascher Racing's build quality?
Ascher Racing is famous for machining its wheel bodies out of solid aluminum with zero plastic flex. Even on 25 Nm direct drive wheelbases, the paddles and buttons feel crisp and solid lap after lap.
