If you race on PlayStation 5 and want to try something different this week, Straight4 Studios and publisher GIANTS Software have made the full base version of Project Motor Racing free to play through November 1, 2026.
Instead of putting out a small store demo with one car and a few laps on a single track, the studio opened up the entire base game, and you do not even need a PlayStation Plus subscription to join online lobbies during the free week.
Why a Full Free Week Makes Sense
Since launching in November 2025, Project Motor Racing has received steady physics patches, force feedback updates, and multiplayer fixes throughout 2026. In sim racing, early launch impressions can stick around for a long time even after a studio has reworked the handling and tire model.
Paid DLC packs are not included in the trial and free access ends after November 1, but your wheel settings, car setups, career saves, and online stats all carry over if you decide to buy the full game afterward.
Worth Trying Before Sunday
Giving PS5 players open access to all 14 car classes and 18 tracks right away, without locking cars behind a career grind first, is the best way to let people see how the updated game actually drives.
