Fanatec just expanded its flagship pedal lineup at the 2026 SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt with the launch of the Podium Pedals Sport, available now for $599.99 USD (€599.95 EUR).
While the three-pedal Podium Pedals and the carbon-plate Formula variant sit higher up the price ladder, most GT3, prototype, and open-wheel racers only ever use a throttle and brake. The Podium Pedals Sport strips the package down to a dedicated two-pedal set without cutting corners on the actual brake hardware.
- Uses the same forged aluminum brake lever as the flagship Podium Pedals.
- Custom 200 kg load-cell sensor calibrated for up to 150 kg of foot pressure at the pedal plate.
- Industrial ball bearings at the pivot points eliminate side-to-side play.
Delivers rock-solid threshold braking without flex under heavy leg force.
- Tool-free Compression Control System lets you swap elastomers and preload by hand.
- Ships with black anodized aluminum GT pedal faces and grip tape inserts.
- Fully modular so you can add a standalone clutch pedal or Formula carbon plates later.
Connects directly to a PC over USB or into a Fanatec wheelbase via RJ12.
Why a Dedicated Two-Pedal Podium Set Makes Sense
If you spend ninety percent of your seat time driving GT3s, LMP2s, or Hypercars with paddle shifters, a third clutch pedal usually just takes up footwell space on your rig. By keeping the exact same forged brake assembly, Hall-effect throttle sensor, and tool-free elastomer stack while dropping the clutch and heel rest from the base box, Fanatec gives two-pedal drivers a much cleaner entry into the Podium hardware tier.
