For well over a decade, the ClubSport Pedals V3 served as the backbone of Fanatec's mid-range hardware lineup. At the 2026 SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, Fanatec officially teased its long-awaited successor on the show floor: the ClubSport Pedals V4, slated for release in 2027.
Representing the first ground-up architectural redesign of the ClubSport pedal line since the original series debuted in 2008, the V4 prototype scales down the mechanical layout and structural rigidity of Fanatec's flagship Podium Pedals into a more accessible three-pedal package.
Borrowing Flagship Podium DNA for the Mid-Range
Walking up to the display case in Frankfurt, the visual link between the new Podium Pedals and the ClubSport Pedals V4 is unmistakable. Gone are the exposed threaded rods and dated cast plates of the old V3, replaced by clean cast and CNC-finished aluminum pedal arms reinforced with steel load-bearing components.
- Podium-Derived Geometry: Scales down the upright lever architecture and elastomer stack design of the flagship Podium line.
- Tactile Clutch Bite Point: Dedicated mechanical clutch mechanism with an adjustable bite-point cam for standing starts.
- Independent Throttle Travel: Easy mechanical travel and spring tension adjustments on the accelerator pedal.
- Designed as a complete three-pedal set with integrated heel rest and side-to-side spacing slots.
- Maintains full console wheelbase passthrough and standalone PC connectivity.
- Final load-cell rating and retail pricing will be confirmed closer to its 2027 launch.
How Fanatec's Pedal Lineup Stacks Up Now
With the two-pedal Podium Pedals Sport ($599.99) and three-pedal flagship Podium Pedals covering the high end right now, the upcoming ClubSport Pedals V4 is positioned to become Fanatec's mainstream three-pedal workhorse when it arrives in 2027.
