Recaro has teamed up with Nürburgring endurance powerhouse Team Manthey at the 2026 SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, bringing real-world Porsche GT3 seating ergonomics straight to the sim racing floor in Hall 12.
Anyone who has ever run a two-hour endurance stint with a stiff 100 kg load-cell or active brake pedal knows that a flexing seat ruins your braking consistency. Recaro and Manthey's joint showcase focuses on zero-flex shell geometry that keeps your lower back locked in place under heavy braking.
Developed alongside Manthey's real-world Nürburgring and DTM engineers, the cockpit posture supports your shoulders and pelvis so all your leg force goes straight into the brake pedal face.
Unlike standard track shells designed for fireproof racing suits, Recaro's sim-focused shells use breathable fabric and modular foam pads built for long sessions at home.
